Another kind of art I do! This is blackout poetry. It's been around for a while, but it's probably safe to say that "writer-who-draws" Austin Kleon reinvigorated the form with his 2010 book Newspaper Blackout. I like doing it because it's a totally different (visual) way to exercise my brain, but it's also kinda not dissimilar to acting: take a pre-existing text, and make it your own.
